Special timetable due to Covid-19

Normale service resumes starting June 1st

Bericht

A special timetable is in place with far fewer trains than usual.

Travel by train only when necessary! Trains continue to run to allow people working in vital functions to travel to work. Do not use the train for non-essential trips.

At the moment a special basic timetable is in place. Only a small number of trains will run: once every half hour on each route for local trains. Most intercity trains run only once per hour. The timetable for international trains is heavily modified.

Starting from June 1st, the normal timetable will resume. Wearing face masks will be required. See the following Dutch page for more information about face masks in public transport: https://www.rijdendetreinen.nl/informatie/mondkapjes-kopen-voor-ov

Because fewer trains are running, you will have to change trains more often and your journey time will probably also be considerably longer. Use the journey planner to plan your trip. The journey planner has been updated up to a few days in advance. If you travel later than this period, then plan your trip again with the planner just before you depart.
