This page shows all engineering works which are currently taking place on the Dutch railway network. Periodically, the railway network needs maintenance to ensure that trains run smooth and safely. Besides the periodic maintenance, there are always projects to extend the current infrastructure, to build new stations, and so on.
Many engineering works take place during the night and in weekends, but there are exceptions. Engineering works are announced at least 10 days before they start. Rijden de Treinen has a list of all upcoming engineering works.
Engineering works usually lead to longer travel times, extra changes or travelling by a bus service. It is not possible to apply for a refund when you are delayed by engineering works that were announced in advance.
